I am currently in one of the longest DrawSomething games ever with my niece. (23 rounds!)
This week I’ve walked 10.56 km (6.65 mi). Since I started walking, according to Nike+, as of April 17th 2012 I have walked a full marathon when you add all of walks together. That’s pretty cool.
Last weekend I decided to try out an App called weave to try and help me keep on track with all of the projects I have going on. It’s a nifty little app that lets you set goals and keep track of your progress. The primary impetus to trying the App out is the Beekeeper Quilt project. I am woefully behind on hexipuffs. I set various goals and went about my days.
Every morning a message would pop up greeting me and letting me know that I had some to-dos. The only other message I received was an hour before the goal was supposed to be met. (This only happens if you set a time limit for the goal.) In the case of the hexipuffs, this is great as it takes roughly half an hour to make one from start to finish. If I haven’t made one by the time the notice pops up I still have time.
If I don’t meet the goal for that day I mark it and make sure I tackle it first the next day.
This week I set a rough goal of making a total of 6 hexipuffs. I am happy to announce that I did in fact meet this goal, I made the last one for the week this morning. The picture only depicts 5 because during a trip to Norman this past weekend I gave one of the finished puffs to Anika, the daughter of a friend, to play with and it happily went home with her.
